This was like reading a missing chapter from a book. Maybe it was part that was taken out so the real book would be the right length. That my best guess because nothing realm happens. You get more from reading what the books about than you do from the book. If you want a quick read where the characters stay in limbo and don't change at all, then this is the read you're looking for.Product details

Another very quick but important read. This novella provides some very important information about Chris and Sarah's story and also serves to move the overall timeline for these characters along.
I liked getting to know Chris and Sarah, i hope there will be more to their story in the future.
I can't wait to read more about Sarah and Chris both with troubled past have built walls and are afraid to show their feelings for each other. They make a great couple I love the way Chris treats Sarah anf the cute nicknames he gave her.
I want more! This is really my only complaint. This is a wonderful little snippet looking at Chris and Sarah as they work towards having a relationship. Chris has a past that intimidates Sarah and Sarah is focused on college which has her working in a job she doesn't love but gives her the money needed to keep going to school. We get to see Chris' sweet side which really charms Sarah. I'm hoping we get more of their relationship in the future!
Maybe this one is just supposed to be a build-up for a full-length novel about Chris and Sarah because the book lays the foundation/gives the background for their love story and then just stops. I can see where a full novel about them could/would be enjoyable, but not this.
The book itself was good and would have been worth at least 4 or 5 stars, but for the author ending the book before finishing it, or even giving it a cliff-hanger type ending. She begins telling a story and then just inexplicably stops. I feel cheated.
Another quick between the books novella. This one sets us up for Chris and Sarah’s story in Fractures in Ink. I like Chris a lot more than I thought I would. I love Sarah. I couldn’t wait to delve into their love story.
